AppFocus Cooperative Multi Purpose Society Limited ("AppFocus," "we," "us," or "our") is a registered financial cooperative in Nigeria. We are registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and operate in compliance with Nigerian cooperative society laws and regulations.
Our services include personal accounts, savings schemes, loans, investments, payment services, USSD services, and other financial products designed to empower our members.

To open an account, you must download our mobile app, complete the registration form, provide required identification documents, verify your phone number and email address, and accept these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to reject any application at our sole discretion.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update this information as necessary. We may verify your identity using third party services and government databases. Providing false or misleading information may result in account suspension or termination.

You must not share your account credentials with anyone, use another person's account without permission, or allow anyone else to access your account.
You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes. You must not:
You can deposit funds into your account through various channels including direct transfers, cash deposits at our office, and other approved methods. Withdrawals can be made through transfers to other accounts, cash withdrawals at our office, or other approved methods. All transactions are subject to verification and may be delayed or rejected if we suspect fraud or illegal activity.
You can transfer funds to other AppFocus members, send money to accounts at other financial institutions, pay bills and buy airtime, and make payments to merchants. Transfers to other AppFocus members are instant and free. Transfers to other institutions may incur charges and processing times vary.
We may impose daily, weekly, or monthly transaction limits based on your account type, verification level, and transaction history. We reserve the right to modify these limits at any time.
If a transaction fails after your account has been debited, the funds will typically be reversed within 24 to 48 hours. If reversal does not occur within this timeframe, contact our customer support immediately.
We offer various savings products including regular savings, target savings, and automatic savings. Interest rates are subject to change and will be communicated to you in advance. Target savings funds remain locked until the target amount or date is reached.
Investment returns are not guaranteed and may vary based on market conditions. Investments have specific terms and conditions that will be provided at the time of investment. Early withdrawal from investment products may result in penalties or reduced returns.
You can apply for loans through our mobile app or by visiting our office. Loan approval is subject to creditworthiness assessment and our lending criteria. We reserve the right to approve, reject, or modify any loan application.
You agree to repay your loan according to the agreed schedule. Failure to repay on time may result in late fees, penalties, negative credit reporting, and legal action. We may deduct loan repayments directly from your account balance.
If you default on your loan, we reserve the right to report to credit bureaus, take legal action to recover the debt, and suspend or terminate your account.
We may charge fees for certain services including transfers to other financial institutions, cash withdrawals, loan processing, and other services as specified in our fee schedule. Fees are subject to change with prior notice. Current fees are available in our mobile app and on our website.
We do not charge monthly account maintenance fees for personal accounts.
Our USSD service allows you to access your account using simple codes on any phone. USSD transactions may be subject to network charges from your mobile operator. You are responsible for the security of your USSD PIN.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our mobile app and website for personal use only.
We may release updates, upgrades, or new features from time to time. You agree to install updates when available to ensure optimal security and functionality.
Our services may contain links to third party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of third party services.
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
All content on our website, mobile app, and marketing materials, including logos, trademarks, text, graphics, and software, are the property of AppFocus or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. You must settle all outstanding obligations before closing your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms and Conditions, engage in fraudulent activities, fail to repay loans, provide false information, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
Upon termination, you must settle all outstanding obligations. We may retain your data as required by law.
Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access to our services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AppFocus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, network failures, or government actions.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in Nigerian courts.
Before taking legal action, you agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes may be resolved through arbitration in accordance with Nigerian law.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you via email, SMS, or through our mobile app. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
